Alex is a staff attorney in Taft’s Columbus office with a strong background in tax litigation and advisory work. He previously served as a senior attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel, where he litigated more than 80 cases in U.S. Tax Court involving corporate, partnership, and cryptocurrency tax matters. He also worked with differing tax issues involving sales and use tax, commercial activity tax, and non-profits as an attorney in the Ohio Department of Taxation’s Tax Appeals Division.
